Stamped with Water

Hey there Bloggers! Today's project features a very cool technique...stamping with water!

So this a card that I made based on a card that I saw on the Hero Art's blog. It is such a simple technique...
Sponge layers of ink onto Glossy Cardstock. Then "ink" your image using water on a paper towel. Stamp the image into the sponged ink and voila.....

Jots & Thoughts

Happy Wednesday Bloggers! Have you seen the Try It Kit from Paper Pumpkin?

Today's project are my two journals from the Jots & Thoughts kit. The first journal was made according to the directions. The second journal was my stepped up version.
On the second journal I used the Tea Lace Paper Doilies, Flower Trim and a pin that one of my Stamper's Club members brought as a gift for everyone on the month that she was hostess.

Enjoy!

Swallowtail

Hey there bloggers! Today's post is a card that I made for my Stamper's Club last week but it was actually CASE'd from Sami

Basically you are stamping your image onto Vellum with Staz On Ink. Then you are masking the butterfly on a piece of white cardstock underneath using the negative image. You are filling in the image using a sponge dauber and ink. Then you attach the vellum over top of the inked area and your sponged color will show through the stamped image. And I really like the idea of attaching your vellum by folding it under the cardstock.

Don't forget that the 2013-2014 Stampin' Up! Catalogue goes live on May 31 so make sure you email me today to get your copy!

Seriously!?

Hey there bloggers! Well, it's finally Friday... and I am looking forward to some really nice weather finally.
So, if you haven't heard, the new Stampin' Up! catalogue will be live on May 31. And I have to say that I am very excited. I have a pre-order that has shipped and it includes a copy of the new catalogue.... woohoo! I can't wait to see Mr Brown at my door.

So in my job and also with Stampin' Up! I am definitely noticing a trend this year. And that trend is Eastern/bohemian. And the Washi Tape trend continues too. I think that you will all like the new offerings this year too, Eastern or otherwise.

Today's project share is my creations for the Paper Pumpkin April kit. Seriously!? A lot of people are not fans of this kit, but I think that if you are thinking outside of the box (ha ha, the paper pumpkin red box) then you will find a way to use these stamps/accessories.

So, the first card is using the instructions as they are set out.

and the next items are two cards and a post it note holder made by thinking "outside the box"

Lattice Edge

Hey there Bloggers! It's Wednesday and that means only 2 more days to go until the weekend. And I can't wait for Saturday, because my favorite team the Calgary Roughnecks will be playing for the Western Division Championships in lacrosse.

Today's card is one that we made at our April Stamper's Club meeting. It has a Lattice Fold on the inside edge and then the lattice was inked. It looks very cool in person and is actually really easy to make.

Enjoy!
